I sat down this morning next to my son and he said, I LOVE YOU!!

My daughter loves to shake her head back and forth as if she is dancing when she is crawling somewhere with determination. It is so cute.

Sam loves to splash so hard in the bath that she actually is drinking bath water.

Sam loves the kiss the dog with an open mouth and is so gentle when she pets her. She also pats her baby’s butt with her hand at she holds her close to her chest..then she kisses her forehead. Makes me feel warm inside my heart because I know she is treating her baby like her momma treats her.

Max can say his own name but he calls himself, MAC! Cute name actually.

Samantha is so strong willed that she actually throws a mini baby tantrum if she does not get her way. Geez-having a strong little girl is already teaching me the lesson of discipline at am early age. BUT I love that she is so strong.

We had a break from winter and actually got on the swings during the weekend. Aw, the sun made us all so happy.

Life is good. My kids are awesome!!

The I said, “show me”

The he moved his hand back and forth along the box and said COCK again and I said…of you mean CUT!! CU-TTTTTTTTTTT!

Funny because Max had been saying COCK for a week now and had no clue what he was saying. I guess his speech intervention is working. I love that kid!

It is not bad to the point that I have a tough time or anything like that but it keeps me thinking. I knew I was pregnant when I started to just throw things out, which I almost never do. It ranges from old clothes to food in the fridge. I just feel like it has no room in my life anymore and must go. Now the germ thing is strange because I start to feel like bacteria is everywhere and things must be clean. Luckily, I have two ladies who clean my house weekly and do a major scrub but in the last few days I find myself scrubbing the floors and washing Max’s hands. On a side note, before I met my hubby I was never a “germaphobe”. I did not really think of germs and then came my hubby and his family, well especially his father and step-mom, who are obsessed with germs. Now after being with my hubby, I am that girl. I have always flushed toilet with my feet in a public bathroom but now I open doors with my sleeve. I do not think anyone notices but I actually find it very funny. I guess over time we really do become like our partners. The good part o=about this germ things is that it really motivates me. It actually gets my ass to really get cleaning in my kitchen. I am by no means a dirty person and I do not keep a dirty house but the germ thing has me vacuuming after dinner. LOL Through out  out Max’s whole life I have used only natural products that I buy at Whole Foods but now I want real bleach and Real Kitchen Cleaners with Bleach and Clorox and all of those products that are horrible but they make me feel like things are clean. But I am only using them with gloves. I don;t want to harm myself or the baby with too much bleach. Did you experience any funny things like this during pregnancy and if you are a guy-then did your wife?

What should I do? It started out like this.. Last night Max farted in the bathtub and he laughed and then I laughed and then he tried to make a few more farts but ended up pooping. So I bleached the tub and then washed it down and then it was OK. Well tonight Max was playing and getting washed and then he was playing some more..very typical routine for him in the tub. He loves the water. Then he was on his knees and bent over and started to push out a poop and it was a nice size poop. So I screamed for SCOTT and he came running and picked Max up and poop was falling to the floor. UGH and YUK! But there is something to say about it being my son because I was fine picking it up and throwing it out. But if it were an adult-well that is another story.So anyway, what do I do? I don’t want to deny him a fun bath time but I also don’t want to encourage the pooping in the tub again.Any and all comments appreciated for this poop mom.

Put it this way-me beige carpet has 5 huge stains on it from the vomit cough. Other vomit coughs have taken place in the mud room, my babysitters car, on my sons coat and in his highchair about 8 times. Yes, the vomit cough is loved especially by Miss Esther, the Pug. I know it sounds gross but she of course likes to see if any food came up.

So the vomit cough looks like this..

Mommy is playing with baby and baby coughs and then again and then again and then finally he chokes..turns slightly red and then up comes whatever he has consumed in the past few hours. Sometimes I am lucky and it is just his Neocate formula and other times like tonight, it was all of his dinner. YUK! Horray for Miss Esther. No I do not let my dog eat the vomit but by the time I run to the kitchen..well she has inspected it and probably eaten some. UGH!

So hopefully the vomit cough will soon end and Max will be all better.

5. I loved being pregnant and I look forward to the next time. I even loved the feeling I had from knowing that I birthed Max wsithout drugs in less than 6 1/2 hours start to finish. Tooting my own horn. LOL

6. I LOVE reality TV. I know it is horrible but I love it.

7. I grind my teeth at night and have been doing it since I was at least 17.

Anyway, as for teething..things seems to be better. I did not need to give Max any motrin tonight or last night. I did not even give him teething tablets today. We also went to see Dr. Daphne Goldberg yesterday and she looked in his ears and NO INFECTION> Yeah you heard me-no antibiotics. I did or we did it meaning the chinese herbalist. I was so damn happy. I was so excited that we fought it off. I also gave him garlic and mullein drops in his ears plus a homeopathic ear infection medicine as well. I figured one of them had to work. I think the garlic and mullein helped to kill the bacteria while the homeopathic drops helped to take away the itching and the irritation. Anyway, they worked.

As for sleeping..after a year of seeing that my kid hates his crib-we moved the mattress to the floor. I realized that it is not about me sleeping next to him because he no longer wants to snuggle at night-he wants to just sleep in an open space-not confined. I have tested this theory by seeing if he falls alseep anywhere but his crib so last night after talking with Daphne we tested it and it worked. He went to sleep at 7 45 pm and woke at 9 for a butt pat and then at 12 for a butt pat and then at 4 am for a butt pat and then at 7 30 am. Considering this is a kid that is teething and not the greatest sleeper-well it worked and he slept in his room all night. He is totally baby proofed and there are no outlets that are not covered etc. Scott and I were blown away but I knew it-he hated feeling like he was in jail.

So tonight we did our routine and then went into his room-he climbed up on his bed and laid his head down. He drank a little bottle and then put his head on his stuffed animal pillow and went to sleep.

OK..so now the funny stuff. When I was younger, I had a dog and my mom used to find me eating dog food with my dog next to me. Tonight I was coking and I turned around to see Max eating Esther’s treats. I guess Max wanted cheese and bacon. OH BOY!!
