I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. They were so impacted that they were growing into my jaw. I had local anesthesia in the surgery. The surgery itself wasn’t really too painful (besdies the shots to numb you up). It’s after the surgery when the medication goes away that you will experience A LOT of pain and swelling in the cheeks.

Teething can definitely cause all of that!! I actually remember when my wisdom teeth were coming in and it was sooooo painful. Poor little Sam! I hope you are able to find something that works for her.

sorry bout the haircut experience…but i am sure he is adorable!

and the teeth??? oh i hear you…when will we be done with the teething!! i am not a fan of the moms who are all oh they just popped in and i never knew. no crying. no problem.

boo hiss to you mamas! teething in our house is awful!!

but you are in a beach house for ten weeks and i am jealous. the end!

ps – really sorry bout the teeth and lack of sleep – i get it really. and yes i am still jealous!

Oh the haircut sounds like an experience not to be repeated! We’ve had one haircut with Theo where it took two of us to hold him down. Now he has a cut once every 4 months or so… it gets rather long, but in an afro kind of way… blonde afro. So funny.

Beach sounds great!

Oh, we have had a little bald boy a couple of times before. I think it is adorable, even if it was accidental. That is funny!

I don’t think there is any harm in letting Sam sleep in the swing. Rissa did it for a long time, and I just figured that as long as she was sleeping that everything was gonna be alright!

Have fun at the beach, I can’t wait to see pictures!!

Bayley would only sleep in her swing for a couple of months. Once asleep, I’d move her to her bed and she’d often wake up crying so back to the swing she went. I think many swings actually hold up to 30 lbs now, but you definitely need to double/triple check that.

As for teething, yes that can cause them to not eat and be cranky, restless, sleepless, etc.

Have you ever heard of Amber Teething necklaces? I got one for Ethan and it seemed to help a little. Amber assists with alleviating the resulting teething pain and minimizes the restlessness, irritability, acidity and drooling which coincide with the teething problem. I ordered mine online.

w00t for feeling relaxed and finding a moms group!

eeps on the door but eh at least it was discovered right away.

I so cannot cut my kid’s hair. I always have to take them to the hairdressers!
