Food allergies suck. they suck even more when people are allergic to different things in the house! I have to make everything 2x since ruby and I are on different diets, altho we dont' know if she has any allergies. we are just trying gfcf to see if it helps her language development. Tomorrow we see the speech therapist for the first time so hopefully we'll get some info! thinking of you@

Hi there, visiting from Chelle's (site looks fab, BTW). My kids are both sensitive little beings. We went through a whole heap with my daughter, allergy testing, blood tests, eczema. Not nice. She is five years old now and seems to be growing out of her dustmite allergy ... With food though, we discovered (not the tests!) that she was reacting to a whole heap of food additives... so we're pretty much back to very whole, non-coloured food :) Sometimes I cave and let her have stuff (usually at birthday parties!) and I'm pleased to say that she is starting to react less! Yay!
It is hard work at times .... but so worth it for their comfort! Well done on being such an on-to-it mum!

Allergies are tough. Izzy has been keeping me on my toes with food sensitivities too. Except I am not nearly as imformed as you, so I just keep calling the ped office.

Wow. This all has to be extremely difficult! I mean, parenting is hard enough with worrying about severe allergies and whatnot. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank goodness your kids have YOU as their mom!

It must be so difficult and frustrating to have to deal with all of this. But, you're right- at least every one is healthy. HUGS!
