We had a wonderful time. I will post pictures tomorrow. I think because I blogged about it and let myself feel all the feelings-well let’s just say the day was all about Scott. We drove down to Longport, New jersey for a lunch at his uncles house and it was great. First off Max fell asleep on the way down and so my day was starting great already. Max was well rested for the noon party and he was great despite the teething that has been horrible. I am dosing my child with Motrin constantly. We ate and opened gifts and had a great time. I enjoyed my time with Scott on the way down just talking. I cherish those moments.
I guess I realized that my life is about my family and how differently Max is going to grow up because he does have a Dad that loves him and is there for him.
Today Max started the little beasts class at Little Gym in Narberth, PA. He loves it. We have been in this class for a while but he used to be a little bird. It was great to see him watching the older kids and playing. He is still very shy and wants to be held by me-I am really trying to break this habit but I always seem to fail. Max has become really clingy and needy and cranky and I am a pregnant tired and fussy woman with little sleep due to a cranky teething child and so my patience is being tried at every moment. I think I forget at times that he is only a few days shy of 18 months. Still it is hard pregnant or not. he wants what he wants when he wants it. UGh- sound like I am describing myself. LOL
Anyway being a mom is hard and being a baby is hard too.
