My dearest Max:
Well this month as every other month has been big for you. Since we got tubes in your ears, you have not had a middle ear infection. Even though you still battle with your food allergies, like your momma, and you still have a little irritation on your outer right ear, well things are still pretty good. Ever since your ear surgery you have been sleeping till 6:30 to 7 am and this makes your momma very happy. You are also only waking up about once a night. Of course you sleep some in your room and the rest with your momma, dad and doggie. As long as we all get sleep, we are all happy.
You have become very social with your new buddy Miss Tyler. You play so nicely with kids and you are so loving, even when Miss Tyler pulls your shirt because she wants your attention. You just give her that Max look..the one that says…hhmmm, why are you doing this to me? You are learning to push her away instead of crying and I am just so proud that you don’t pull back. Even though she man handles you, you still give her tons of hugs and kisses. It is too cute. I know you will be the best big brother.
You are so curious and you just want to do it on your own. Of course you still want your momma but you just adore playing rough house with your Dad. I watch as your dada throws you on the couch, spins you around and plays dog fight with Esther with you on his back. You love to spin around and even after your dad stops.. you continue on your own to spin around.
You are very expressive with your pointing and your grunting. You can say exactly what you want with that little finger and I am sure one day we will hear your words but for now-this works for you.
You are still such a good eater. Even though you do not love many foods-you adore nitrate free hot dogs (chicken, beef and turkey) and you eat broccoli, asparagus, peas, carrots and celery. You also love fruits and brown rice and rice cakes and well that pretty much sums up your likes.
You really love being a little helper. You enjoy jobs such as putting the laundry away, cleaning the floor, washing your hands, throwing out garbage and anything else that you need to do.
You are still and will always be the love of my life. Watching your grow and become a little guy has been such a pleasure for both myself and your father. You are such a warm and loving boy. I feel that I have been so lucky to have had you in my belly for over 9 months and now to have you next to me in this world. I hope that you always reach for the stars because I believe in you. Your smile, your sweet tough, the way you blow your nose and the way you blow a kiss all makes my heart melt daily. You are so funny..just like your dad. I guess I am lucky to have two great guys in my life. I love you Max!
