We made it and Max was totally fine. We are back in Florida for a week and I am so happy. It was snowing when we left and cold and Max was sick. I was really worried about his ears but he was totally fine. Daphne Goldberg and I decided that Max needed antibiotics and I am sure you know from reading my blog that I feel antibiotics are the devil. But when you need to give them to your sick kid-well they work. I had given Max everything natural, homeopathic and chinese for the past two weeks and nothing was working. Then he had a fever of 101.5, which I know is not a lot but I knew that his body just had enough. Gow did I know this? My gutt told me..my mommy gutt.
So I gave him MOtrin 45 minutes before flying, teething tablets and Valerian, made by Herbs for Kids before we flew and he was fine. I was so happy. Actually he was better than fine..he was a pleasure.
So we arrived yesterday and I was too tired to post but I will let you know how we are doing here. Max of course already shed his mark on the floor. It is funny because at home he does not really do that but when we are away he must feel the need to mark his territor.
Also, they did not have a Toddler bed and I am sure you remember that Max does not sleep in a crib anymore, so I put the couch cushions together and put a sheet over them and made a bed. Smarty pants!!
