I am not homescooling Max now and I do not plan on it but I thought it would be fun to make a day where we go and explore and learn. So today we learned about the leaves changing on the trees. We examined a leaf and looked at the veins on the leaf. Then we observed the leaves on the trees and since we are in the North East, therera e not that many on the trees. We also studied pine coans. We looked at the tree that they came from and then I told Max about the changing seasons.
Max studied the trees and of course, held onto his new leaf and pine coan till we were home and then he showed his Daddy.
We also learned about the bath tub and the shower and practiced making the shower rain water. I explained the entire process and he was interested. It was pretty amazing to dsee his little barin working.
As for his cold-he was cranky and fussy and I was so tired since we were up so early this morning. I actually fell alseep while I was putting him to sleep. He woke me up because he was trying to hug me. Too much. I melted. I fell so full and complete.
Thank goodness for my little boy.
