So I came to a new understanding for this sleep stuff.
1. Max will eventually sleep on his own.
2. Max will not sleep in my bed when he is a teenager.
3. max will not sleep in my bed when he has a wife-and if he does-we have bigger issues than sleep.
So with these 3 things-I think that I need to just accept the sleep stuff.
But I did call the chinese herbalist and she gave him some herbs for stomach heat. Since stomach heat is caused by teething and the result is no sleeping and/or constipation. So he had 2 large poops today and I am hoping he will sleep better but we will see.
It is so hard not to sleep. I start to think that I am just not feeling well and that I am feeling nutty but the truth is that I have not gotten a good night of sleep in a long time. I would never let him Cry It Out while he is in pain. It is just not in me. I know he will find his way back to his crib because truthfully, even when I sleep with him in bed-he has to sleep far away from me to be comfortable. But he is in pain and he just wants me close to him.
He is such a sweet little boy. Poor Max and poor little kids who are going through this and the mommas who are not sleeping.
A few of my tricks I use for teething:
1. If things are really bad-I spray a little Bach Flower Rescue Remedy on his binky and then he can rest easily.
2. Lavender in his diffuser
3. Teething Tablets
