I remember this day so well. I remember having you at 12:24 am and putting you right on my chest and right away you started nursing. I was so amazed. I could not believe how perfect you were and are. You are so magical and it has been the most amazing time watching your personality evolve.Today Daddy changed your car seat to face forward because you are officially 1 years old.You are so sweet. Every time we meet people or we are in music class, people make comments on how sweet you are. You love the flirt but you still pretend you are shy sometimes.You have learned how to blow kisses but when you blow a kiss, you put your hand on the other persons mouth. You love to kiss. You love to kiss Esther, your dog, and you love to kiss Mommy and Daddy.This month you have started to stack objects. You also love the hammer the balls on one of your toys. And you keep doing it over and over. You, just like your Dad, complete everything you start. If you pull out all of the clothes out of your drawers, you will put the clothes back and then pull it out and put back etc. You also love to close doors or gates. If a door is open the you must close it. You are a great helper. This month you have really become a climber. You will climb anything. You also have learned how to slide off a bed and go up and down the stairs the safe way.You still refuse to be fed by a spoon or fork. You will only eat foods that are finger foods and even with that you are kind of picky but you are a great eater. You love protein, some veggies and fruit.You have a great sense of humor. You think everything is funny just like your Dad. Even when you were learning to stand up by yourself, this made you laugh.This month you started being able to stand while playing with an object in both hands. You are a very funny kid and very determined like your Momma. You have not changed much from the day you were born. You are still so aware of everything and everyone-you do not miss a thing.You love to hug and you love to snuggle, especially in the morning when we are the only ones awake.This month you perfected sleeping (except if your tummy hurts or your teething is bad). You know how to put yourself to sleep and you can even put yourself back to sleep in the middle of the night. You actually slept from 7:30 pm to 6:30 am a few times but you always sleep from 7:30 pm until 5:30 am.You are now 23.4 pounds and 30 inches. You were born at 6.15 pounds and 20 inches. You are 3 pounds bigger than Daddy was at a year.You have made our lives full and we love you so much. You are my muffin. You are the reason that I continue to challenge myself to be a better mom and a better wife and a better friend-you are my inspiration.Max: Thanks for being such a wonderful boy.
