Tales of a MisGuided Mommy,,(Due in just a few days) awarded me my first ever blog award. I am so honored. Thank you so much. Sometimes I feel like I am not making any sense but it feels good to know that I am making some sense.
These are the instructions: The people I have given this award to are can post it on their own blog. Also, list three things they believe are necessary for good, powerful writing; and then pass the award on to the five blogs they want to honor, who in turn pass it on to five others.
My three things that are necessary for good and powerful writing are:
1. Honesty: I truly believe that I should write as if I am talking. I never write drafts. I never even spell check. I look at my blog as a best friend that I am sharing my deepest and darkest whatevers with. And for this reason, it amazes me anybody even understands. LOL
2. Truth: I am always seeking the tuth in what I write. I am always trying to find out what is the best way to parent, be a mom, health issues etc. When I write, I am almost talking things out in my own head and working out the solution. Then my next post may be sharing the answer in case anyone reading my blog is going through the same thing.
3. Courage: It has taken me a long time in my life to admit feelings that I have been embarassed to admit at one time. So it is the courage to admit and write the feelings of being less or sad or happy or depressed or guilty. It is the freedom to feel and then the courage to write.
So with that being said I tag:
Crunchy Domestic Goddess, , because she always makes me feel like it is important just to take one step at a time towards a healthy way of parenting.
For the 5 women I picked..I picked these women because they are real. Yes, Cec is a writer by passion and profession, but the other women are women are just women talking about life. I feel connected to all of these women because they write about the truth, their own lives..they share honestly about what it takes to be them on a daily basis. And for that I give these woman the ROAR AWARDS!! Now pass it on!!
