It has been a while since I talked about foods that Max eats in a typical day. He eats a full serving of food in the am, either prepared food by me or canned food, which he loves because it is so smooth. Then he nurses. Then he naps around 10 am. Then he wakes and nurses. Then he eats either bannanas or pears or grapes, either in finger foods or in his munchkin feeder. Then he nurses. Then a few hours later he has organic turkey slices. Then a few hours later he nurses and then we have dinner. He usually eats another munchkin feeder, maybe some turkey or maybe another jar of baby food. Then he nurses before bed, which is always between 7 to 7:30 pm. So that is a typical day for Mister Max.
I did start to give him Neocate, a formula that is for babies with allergies, because I cannot pump 3 bottles full of 6 or 7 ounces. He has been having 4 ounces since he was a baby and it was time for him to have more and my boobies hate the pump. I am sure he can nurse 7 ounces but when I see that pump-my boobs will only let down 4 or 5 ounces. Since the babysitter watches him for 2 1/2 days, I knew I needed to figure out something since 4 ounces was not working for Mister Max anymore. Anyway, the formula is $50 a can!!! Ouch but at least no allergies.
I have noticed that he is sleeping a little longer on the first strech since I increased the ounces.
