It has been a while since I discussed food allergies. Max has been trying everything and having great poops BUT he has had 2 ear infections in one month. Dr. Daphne Goldberg feels that it must be something he is eating. So back to the basics. I am taking him back to a single diet and introducing foods back in and keeping it simple-no wheat, no corn, no barley..nothing except rice and oatmeal and fruits and veggies.
Just to recap-the cradle cap he had when he was a young infant is gone and has been gone since he was 3 months but the ear infections has me worried. First off, trying to figure out whether he is teething or has an ear infection is tough. Max has been teething so much but the ear infection spiked a fever. We also traveled to Chicago and I think the plane ride made it really bad. Now the good news is that this may be a big part of him not sleeping for the past month. I have a feeling that he never really recovered from the first ear infection. 
As for Chicago, it was a ton of fun. But a little scary when 250 runners were taken to the hospital, one died and well the city ended the race early. Luckily, Scott was far enough into the race that he just kept running. And luckily Scott woudl listen to his body and not push himself on that hot 90 degree weather day.
