I guess this is another level of teething.
How do I know?
1. The drool has increased.
2. He is gagging himself with his fist because he is shoving it so far into his mouth.
3. He has snot coming out of his nose constantly.
4. He is fussy.
5. He is tired.
6. HE HAS A LOW GRADE FEVER.
Yes, it is true. Max has had a low grade fever for 2 days. His temp is 101 and then after the Tylenol, which I hate using but it works and brings his temp down to 100. I give him 1/8 dropper every 10 to 12 hours. When he was 4 months old he got sick and he had a temp of 100 and I thought he was so sick and then I went to CHOP, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and learned what sick really was. But still..Max feels limp when I go to pick him up and he is so tired. It breaks my heart.
I put him in the bath to cool down and the not sick Max emerged from his eyes. His eyes get s radiant deep blue just like me when I am sick. For the past 2 days, he just wants to lay on my chest and be held and that is ok because I am here for him. I let him nurse and nurse and gave him a bottle of water and some water in his sippy cup. I am sure this will pass.
Poor Maxie Poo!
