I have always been a healthy person who has never been over weight. I am lucky that I never had to deal with those issues, but I always have been nutty about my weight and other stuff. (spoken like a true control freak). I have had to work really hard not to get caught up in losing the weight and getting back to the good old me. I am 4 months postpartum and down to 113. A healthy weight for me is probably 108 but I used to be 105. At 108, I would be able to enjoy food.
As soon as my hormones started to lighten up-I started dripping off the weight. Since I came home from our trip to Florida, I have lost 4 1/2 pounds. Yeah.
As for Max, he is going the opposite way-to chunkville. I think he is eating all of my calories. My new love is the ORGANIC FOOD BAR TOTALLY VEGAN WITH 24 GRAMS OF PROTEIN. I wish I would have had these during pregnancy. I don’t eat tons of protein in forms of fish etc and I do eat turkey but not much of anything else, so I adore these.
As for being a mama, I try and look at my body as a sacred place that helped to make Max and hopefully a sibling for Max oneday.
